Parents are an important part of NCRC Tennis. Volunteers are always appreciated, always needed, and always welcome!  If you are a volunteer--Thank you!  If you have not yet volunteered--please consider doing so.

This page is dedicated to helping parents understand our program a bit better. There are links below that will helpful in covering the topics that you ask about. We will update these often, so please come back often.

For help understanding what Quick Start Tennis is, please go to www.quickstarttennis.com and you will find information about choosing the appropriate racket for your child, the courts, set-up, scoring, and so much more. This page has recently been updated and is easy to navigate.
This information is appropriate for players 10 and under.

For older players (11 and up), please visit www.maryland.usta.com and you will find a great deal of information about Jr. Team Tennis. Notice the side bar menu to the left. The "USTA Jr. Team Tennis" is a good place to start or the "USTA MidAtlantic" (below the large "Tennis Link" button).

Also, here is a great chart that explains the courts sizes, balls used, and other information.

If you are interested in learning more about tennis and watching instructional videos, please go to "Tennis Link" from the www.maryland.usta.com page.
